# Tax
Section **Tax** is used to indicate the billing country and the number **VAT ID** used during payments and invoicing.

**Important:** After entering or editing the data, click the button with the checkmark icon to save the changes. Clicking the button **X** cancels editing. Switching to another section without saving may cause loss of the entered data. Please note that moving to another section without prior confirmation may cause loss of the entered data.

**Important:** Company data and tax information are used when issuing billing documents. Check their correctness before purchasing a subscription. If the invoice was issued with incorrect data, go to the section [**Help**](/en/system/technical-support.md) and report a billing issue.
