# Finalization

To start the process, click the button **Anonymize** located at the top of the screen.

The system will create an anonymized version of the document, in which the data in the selected areas will be permanently removed. The process includes fields belonging to active categories as well as manually added areas, according to the settings selected before starting anonymization.

Until the document is archived, the user can undo the saved changes in the system and return to the classification stage. However, this does not affect files downloaded earlier; anonymization in each downloaded version of the document is permanent and irreversible.

**Important:** Before performing anonymization, check all pages of the document, active categories, and manually added areas.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Anonymization is not just about visually covering the content. The data removed from the output file cannot be recovered by selecting the text, turning off the layer, or changing the document settings.

{% hint style="info" %}
If the anonymization process is not completed, check the message displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen.

If the problem persists, go to the section [**Technical Support**](/en/system/technical-support.md) and report the error. In your report, provide the document ID and attach a screenshot of the displayed message, if available.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://bluurdoc.bluur.ai/en/features/working-with-a-document/stages/anonymization/finalization.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
